Watercolor Forest for my good friend Anna Beth

I’ve been doing these watercolor forests the past couple of weeks just to do something different and get my creative juices flowing. I’ve never really used watercolor before, and wanted to see if I could combine it with my style. I kept the ink loose in order to show the chaotic lines and shapes of the leaves and branches (or I was really lazy and didn’t want to put all the detail in). Anyway, I hope to start combining my black and white portrait sketches with a little bit of watercolor to help make them pop and make them stand out as my work.
